COURSE DURATION
The duration of the course for MBBS is 6 years including one year of compulsory Internship. The college offers a five-year program approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) and the National Medical Council (NMC) that leads to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Dhaka University. There is a one-year compulsory internship after passing the final professional examination.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MBBS COURSE:
HSC or equivalent with science
Candidate has to secure required grade points in the SSC and HSC examinations.
Minimum 60% aggregate score in PCB in 12th.
Minimum 17 years of age as of 31st December in admission year.

SYLLABUS OF MBBS IN POPULAR MEDICAL COLLEGE
The syllabus of Bangladesh is the same as the syllabus of India and the same syllabus is followed in all the colleges in Bangladesh.
